Molecular and Medical Parasitology Group, Prof Sanjeev Krishna

Our aim is to tackle some of the challenges in diagnosing and treating tropical diseases using a combination of molecular and clinical approaches We are interested in problems of drug resistance and optimising drug use in clinical settings.

Prof. Krishna acts as a scientific consultant to FIND for diagnostics of Human African Trypanosomiasis and to GlaxoSmithKline for their early drug development Programme on neglected diseases. He also serves, or has served on several National and International funding panels.
